Maintenance Tips
-
Lubricate Regularly: Add a few drops of pneumatic tool oil to the air inlet before and after each use to prevent internal wear and corrosion.
-
Clean After Use: Wipe down the polisher and use compressed air to remove dust and moisture from vents and moving parts.
-
Inspect the Polishing Pads: Check for wear and tear, and replace pads as needed to maintain optimal polishing performance.
-
Monitor Water Supply: Ensure the water feed system is functioning properly to keep the work surface cool and dust-free.
-
Check Air Supply: Use clean, dry compressed air and maintain the correct PSI and CFM settings for peak performance. Drain moisture from air lines frequently.
-
Tighten Fasteners: Periodically check and secure screws, bolts, and fittings to prevent loosening during operation.
-
Avoid Excessive Pressure: Let the polisher do the work—excessive force can damage the motor and polishing pads.
-
Inspect Air Hoses: Look for leaks, cracks, or kinks in hoses and replace any damaged ones to maintain steady airflow.
